Welcome to White Sands National Park! You’ll be journeying along one of the park’s marked trails today to learn about the dunefield through your senses. Here are a few more tips to help you make the most of this self-led tour:
-
Read up on our hiking safety tips before setting off on foot.
-
Bring plenty of water! We recommend having a gallon of water per person, per day. There is no drinking water available in the dunefield.
-
Always know where you are and keep an eye on the trail markers both behind you and ahead of you. Dune Life Nature Trail’s markers are blue with the club symbol.
Let’s go!
