Theodore Roosevelt
The trailhead for Skyline Vista is one of the first that visitors encounter when entering the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It’s a magnificent introduction. Hiking the 0.1-mile accessible trail to an overlook, one is treated to wonderful views of the Little Missouri River, the western horizon, and the surrounding badlands.

It is illegal to remove any resource from a national park. Leave any flower, stone, or other object where you find it so that other visitors can enjoy it as well.

It is illegal to carve, paint, or otherwise alter anything in a national park.
