Entering the park here at Swift Run entrance gives you an opportunity to travel north or south along Skyline Drive and experience Shenandoah National Park. You'll notice mile posts as you travel. Use these as references to find everything from dining and lodging to trails and visitor centers. Travel north and you will reach the Big Meadows area with a scenic meadow, Byrd Visitor Center, and plenty of options for hiking, lodging, and dining. Travel south and you will ride through a quieter section of Shenandoah National Park with beautiful overlooks and trails.
