Eaton Hollow Overlook
in
Shenandoah

The view from Eaton Hollow Overlook is obstructed by vegetation for much of the year. Facing north-northeast from an elevation of 2,500 ft (762 m), you may be able to see a small window between the growth to look out upon the Shenandoah Valley below. Straight ahead is the town of Elkton. One of the historic properties in Elkton is the Miller-Kite House. Henry Miller Jr. constructed this house in 1827. The house became Stonewall Jackson's headquarters for a brief period in 1862 at the beginning of the Shenandoah Valley Campaign.
