The Mount Storm King trail branches off from the Marymere Falls trail and switchbacks up 2,000 feet in 2.2 miles (610 meters in 3.5 km) - an intense, steep ascent! If you venture to the top, please: Don't feed that Canada jay! In national parks, keeping wildlife wild is part of our mission. Unfortunately, some visitors forget this and have fed birds on Mount Storm King. When birds become habituated they forget how to be wild and can even become aggressive. This is not the place for a fairy tale princess moment...especially if you don't want to be fined for breaking park laws!
