The access road to this trailhead is currently open only to foot traffic and bicycles beyond Madison Falls parking area. This adds an additional 8 miles/12.9 km to your hike/ride just to get to the trail head. From there, an additional easy 2.5 mile/4 km hike takes you to the hot spring. Because this is a back country trip, be prepared with your 10 essentials and contact the Wilderness Information Center.
