
Pine City Trailhead is located in the central portion of the park at the east end of Queen Valley Road. This trailhead provides access to the Pine City Trail and the Lucky Boy Vista Trail. The Pine City Trail is a four mile out and back mostly sand and level trail with occasional steep sections that makes its way through a dense stand of junipers and pinyon. Both of these trails can be combined with other trails for longer hikes. This trailhead also has the Pine City Wilderness Backpacking Board with backpacking information and self registration for backpackers.
