
Suzy's Cave is located on the east end of Isle Royale National Park. It is a popular short hike from the Rock Harbor area. Suzy’s Cave includes an inland sea arch formed by wave action some 4000 years ago when water levels were higher. The cave is located between Three Mile Campground and Rock Harbor. Rock Harbor can be accessed via the Tobin Harbor Trail or the Rock Harbor Trail. The 1.8 mile Rock Harbor Trail is difficult and includes rocks and roots, tread carefully. The 1.8 mile Tobin Harbor Trail is significantly smoother. There is a .2 mile spur trail that connects the two trails to Suzy’s Cave.
