
The Loop is the only switchback along the western side of Going-to-the-Sun Road, and marks the beginning of the narrow, carved-into-the-mountainside portion of the road.
It features a restroom, a shuttle stop, and limited parking available for hikers using The Loop Trail. Starting here, The Loop Trail climbs 4.2 miles and 2600 feet to reach the Granite Park Chalet, and join with the Highline Trail.
