
The dock house at Garden Key is located on the dock where the ferry lands. It is dead center of Fort Jefferson's only entrance, the sally port.
Changing Rooms
There are changing rooms available in the dock house on the East side. The rooms are open 24/7 and are handicap accessible with handrails and benches.
Information Room
On the West side of the dock house, there is an information room with park brochures. Private boaters can pick up and fill out a boat permit at this location. Useful boating, diving and fishing material can be found here, along with a marine band radio for required visitor use. As soon as available, tide charts and weather are posted in this room.
