Lodgepole Picnic Area
in
Crater Lake
Lodgepole is the third picnic area on Hwy 62 when entering Crater Lake National Park from the south boundary via Fort Klamath, Chloquin, and Klamath Falls. An old growth forest of lodgepole pines welcomes you. These trees grow straight and many reach over 100 feet in height. A trailhead for the Pumice Flats Trail, and two picnic tables are located beneath the trees on the left.
