Surrounded by meadows and sub-alpine trees, the historic Crater Lake Lodge overlooks the deepest lake in the United States and one of the clearest in the world.
Accomodations and Reservations
The lodge is open mid-May to early October, depending on the current snow levels. The lodge has 71 rooms including six accessible rooms. Some accommodations have views of the lake while others look out on Rim Village or the surrounding forest and meadows.
Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made a year in advance of your visit. Reserve a room at Crater Lake Lodge by contacting the park concessionaire, Crater Lake Hospitality, either online or calling 866-292-6720.
Dining
The Crater Lake Lodge dining room offers three meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, for lodge guests and any park visitors wanting a more formal meal service. Reservations are taken for dinner and are highly encouraged. Reserve your meal time in person at the lodge or by calling 541-594-2255.
The Great Hall and Porch
Beyond lodging and dining, the experience includes a Great Hall defined by a large native stone fireplace, tall windows, and accents of Ponderosa pine wood. You are invited to lounge with a drink, play board games, or simply relax to the crackle of the fire which is lit most inclement days. On the back patio are rocking chairs that draw your attenition to the lake, especially at sunrise and on days when the lake is a hue of blue that is like no other. Depending on the weather, ranger programs are presented daily either indoors near the fire place or outside on the patio.
For a list of accommodations outside the park visit the Lodging and Camping page on the park website.
