At the entrance to the visitor center are five upright orientation panels along a curved stone wall. The panels provide photographs, maps, text and a chart of information on park amenities, exploring Bryce canyon, the hiking trails, the Bryce Amphitheater, and Junior Ranger activities.

The third panel: Hiking Trails and the Bryce Amphitheater
This panel breaks up the hiking experience into 15 trails within 3 categories: easy, moderate and strenuous, provides the trail name, round trip time, elevation change and a description of the 15 trail experiences.
The fourth panel: Bryce Amphitheater
A map spans the panel showing the park road, trails and services available from the entrance at the Visitor Center to Bryce Point, the northern third of the park.

Here at Bryce Canyon you can explore the Junior Ranger Trail, discover how prairie dogs communicate, learn about the park on a ranger-guided program, and become a Junior Ranger. There are lots of fun things to see and do. Start at the visitor center where you can learn about programs, hikes, walks, and talks; watch the park film; and explore the interactive museum. Ask for a copy of the Junior Ranger Book, then head out and discover Bryce Canyon.
