Almost immediately after passing through the Maverick Entrance Station, you'll see a parking lot on the right side of the road. This parking area contains a vault toilet and a large bulletin board with a map and information about things to do in the park. This is a great opportunity to orient yourself in the vastness of this 800,000 acre park, and decide where to go next.
